Tension: Niger Delta Militants - NDA Begins Operation Zero Economy, Destroys Oil Istallations

The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has launched fresh attacks on major oil and gas installations in Delta region – Chevron, NPDC and NNPC facilities were reportedly blown up by one strike team on Friday and Saturday The NDA have reported about their new attacks on oil and gas producing facilities belonging to Chevron, the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).


A series of attacks took place on Friday, 1st July, 2016,  Saturday night and early Sunday morning in Delta state. At least five facilities were incapacitated, according to the militants.



The NNPC, which owns the NPDC, as well as Chevron Nigeria Limited is not aware of the attacks and cannot officially confirm the strikes.
