How Igbo Woman Was Beheaded In Kano Over Religious Argument
A group of Muslims youths in Kano yesterday evening beheaded an Igbo woman trader, Mrs Bridget from Imo state, over allegations that she blasphemed Prophet Muhammad.
The Foodstuff seller at the Kofar Wambai market in Kano according to Hope For Nigeria was in the company of her husband before she was gruesomely murdered for an alleged religious argument with another trader in Wambai.
The exited Muslim youths dragged her out of her customer's shop and butchered her like a cow in the abettor. Traders in the Market claimed that the woman was set up and it has been long that the Muslims in the market have been looking for excuses to kill Igbos.
They claimed that the deceased was in the market to buy some items from her customer popularly known as Ustaz (spice), who engaged her in a religious joke which the woman’s response was construed to be blasphemous.
Few weeks ago another Igbo Christian was beheaded in Niger state, Nigeria who claimed that he also blasphemed Prophet Muhammad.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kano Police Command, DSP Musa Magaji, confirmed the incident and as usual no arrest will ever be made
