In what might shock many of his fans, Nollywood poster boy, Ramsey Nouah, has declared that he has no university degree.
Prior to this time, there were several stories (including a fallacious report on wikipedia) that he has a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. In an interview conducted by Sahara Reporters, the star actor debunked the claim saying much as he went to the said institution, the course he did was for a Diploma.
“I only went there for diploma. I only did a diploma programme for one year. I never attended any institution to study for degree or whatsoever,” he said. He also cleared the air about his name.
“My surname is Nouah, not the Biblical spelling of Noah we are used to,” he enthused.
Nouah was born in Edo, Nigeria to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos and attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School in Lagos before heading to UNILAG for his Diploma.
Nouah is married to Emelia Philips-Nouah. The couple have two sons and a daughter, Quincy Camil Nouah, Desiree Nouah and a baby boy.
